Along with David's experience in lighting numerous live events for both audience and camera, he as well has expertise in both studio and location shoots for single and multi camera productions.
Frelancing in the broadcast industry since 1988, his lighting director credits include "The National" (CBC promo spot) and "Jubilee Years" (CBC -
Network), "Science Edition", "TVO Kids" and "Referendum '92" (TV Ontario),
"Imagine" (TVO La Chaine), "Nouvelle Nouvelle" and "Un autre son de cloche"
(Goudsou Productions/TVO La Chaine), "Match d'Impro" and "Jeux Franco
Ontarien" (Amerimage Communications / TVO La Chaine), "Nature" (BBC), and
the 1988 Ottawa Rough Rider Telethon.
He was as well honoured to be asked by the Privy Council Office to act as
Lighting Director for Prime Minister Jean Chretien's 1995 Christmas Address
to the Nation.
As a result of his experience, he has contributed articles to nationally
published trade magazines, namely "Lighting" and "Broadcast Technology".
